OUR OWNER
why I, Isabelle Roux founded this gallery
"I can trace my passion for art back to a visit to the National Gallery, in London when I was in my 20s. The Turners that I was seeing for the first time of my life were in the continuity of Claude Gellee, a XVII French painter and announcing the Impressionists. Since then, I kept this approach when dealing with Art. I am driven to finding links between the Artists I support. Making connections is at the heart of my gallery.
This applies to connections between contemporary artists or between contemporary and ones who have disappeared. I don’t have one Art work that stands alone in my gallery. It is always related to another one. Echoing with it. That is what you will find at my place, art works establishing a dialog, across time and space."
